Alfred Reisenauer was another of the pupils of Franz Liszt and contemporaries of Johannes Brahms who lived to record, and a very successful and highly regarded pianist, particularly in Germany and Russia. He was also and important teacher, ending his career as the director of the Leipzig conservatory. Among his own students were Sergei Bortkiewicz and Anatol von Roessel.
In 1905, he recorded ten piano rolls for the Welte-Mignon company. Sadly, I could find only these two.
