Eileen Joyce plays encores and salon pieces with the same brilliance with which she plays the most exalted of pianistic creations by the greatest of composers. Some of these will be familiar to all, some are not very well known. All are beautifully played.
A curiosity is the minuet by Stavenhagen the main theme of which bears a striking resemblance to Paderewski's Minuet in G.
